CHAPTER 10 - - GENERAL FISHING AND HUNTING REGULATIONS
10.1 SECTION 1: RECIPROCITY WITH THE BAD RIVER BAND
10.1.1
Enrolled members of the Bad River Band shall enjoy the lowing fishing privileges, provided that reciprocal privileges are accorded members of the Red Cliff Band by the Bad River Tribal Council.
10.1.2
Any enrolled member of the Bad River Band may fish, within the exterior boundaries of the Red Cliff Reservation (other than for commercial purposes). subject only to Home Use Fishing Regulations. Chapter S provided that have in
their possession a Bad River Tribal Identification card or fishing permit.
10.1.3
Any enrolled member of the Bad River Band shall be eligible to apply for a Red Cliff commercial fishing license, and his application shall be treated the same as any similarly situated member of the Red Cliff Band.
10.1.4
Enrolled members of the Bad River Band shall enjoy the hunting and trapping privileges defined in Chapter VIII and 9 of this Code provided that reciprocal privilegesare accorded members of the Red Cliff Band by the Bad River Tribal Council.
10.2 SECTION 2: PROJECT CONTROL
10.2.1
No research, fact-finding, demonstration or pilot project affecting or potentially affecting the fish resources of the Reservation shall be conducted without authorization by the Tribal Council.
10.2.1
10.2.2 No research, fact-gathering. demonstrations or pilot project affecting, or potentially affecting the wildlife or the hunting or trapping thereof, shall be carried ion within the exterior boundaries of the Reservation without authorization by the Tribal Council .
10.3 SECTION 3: CLOSURES
10.3.1
No issuance of a license nor any of the provisions of thisCode shall be construed to limit the power of the Tribal Council to close the Reservation or treaty protected waters of Lake Superior, or any portions of either area, for fishing, hunting, or trapping in the interests of conservation, to either members or non-members.
10.3.2
Nor shall any such issuance or prov isions be construered to limit the power of the Conservation Commission to issue emergency closure orders.
